Download Free Nintendo DS Games?

Free Nintendo DS games are available for download
on the Internet and are legal as long as you own
a physical copy of the game. The free ones available
for download are for backup purposes only and are known as ROMs.
ROMs require emulators (a piece of software designed
to play the ROM as the actual video game system would)
to play them and you can also find this software for free.

First, you will need a DS flash cart.

These are basically shaped just like and normal DS game,
only here's the catch- they can hold a Micro SD chip,
and play hundreds, if not thousands,
of free DS games downloaded right off the Internet!
I recommend purchasing the Acekard 2i, Cyclo DS, or R4 flash carts.
You can purchase these at gameplayfun.com(which has cheapest prices
but slow shipping), or just type in 'DS flash carts' on the web and order one.
They're relatively inexpensive($14-$20 each).

After obtaining a DS flash cart and a Micro SD chip,
use either an SD card adapter or a USB adapter
(which will probably come with your purchased flash cart)to plug in your Micro SD chip into your Nintendo DS.

Type in 'nintendo ds roms' into Google,
or any other search engine, and you'll find many, many,
websites. I recommend starting a romulation.net account,
as it has the best interface by far compared to other websites,
and it also has most games. Other places to find roms include 3roms.com.

Once you've downloaded your game
(which will take some time, based on the file size),
place it into your micro SD, put the Micro SD into your DS flash cart,
plug it into your Nintendo DS, and you're done!

Download Nintendo ROM DS the Virus Free Way Now

You only need is buy an nintendio flash card here

As everybody knows, rom stands for read only memory. Along with its twin, ram, rom has been around as long as computers have been. Rom often gets second billing after its bigger, tougher brother, who seemed to get all the good genes while poor little rom is nothing but a program that can be used by ram (random access memory) with ease. The truth is, though, that each one of them is useless without the other. For those who love games, rom ds, a rom that can stores Nintendo DS games is the real champion. Big hefty ram is just a tool to make the rom ds run on the computer. And ram needs some help to do that, too, in the form of an emulator.

Every substantially different operating system needs something to allow it to read files from another operating system. This is what the emulator does. Before you can play your rom ds, you need to first download an emulator and install it. Then and only then will your computer have the necessary “smarts” to read your next download, the rom ds

There is not just one rom ds – there are as many as there are games and versions of games. Thousands of them are available for download and many of these can be downloaded at no charge. A different emu (that’s emulator, not the Australian bird) is not necessary for every game you download. Usually one is more than enough and if you look around, you can get emu’s that allow you to play both Nintendo and Gameboy games.

rom ds’s usually download fairly quickly. More often than not they come as Winrar compressed files to keep the download time to a minimum. After you have opened your zipped file, you will be presented with a bewildering list of files. The most important one of these has the suffix .nds attached to it. If you are at all confused, go back to the site where you downloaded the rom ds from. Usually you can find detailed instructions on the best way to get your game to work. If you do it by trial and error, you probably won’t destroy your computer, but you will almost certainly be faced with hours of frustration before you stumble across the one little thing you’ve done wrong!

That’s the rom ds in a thousand words or less. Download and enjoy

Why Cyclo DS is better R4?

And explain why you think it is better.

Below is the reply that Nightroad posted.
I own a CycloDS With an 8GB Kingston Micro SDHC Card,
and a EZ Flash 3-1 Expansion Cart.
I can say from experience that I have had
NO problem with my CycloDS. It does everything
it advertises and I’ve been able to play every singe
ROM I’ve tried without any additional software.
(Except GBA Roms with 1024 Save type, but that was easy to fix).

My brother bought one of the new “Fake” R4. They’re not really fakes,
they’re clones of the R4 with SDHC support,
made by some of the R4 team after they split.
I gave my brother my old 2GB Kingston SD card and it plays ok.
Claims to have many of the features the CycloDS has,
but I haven’t messed with it enough to see.
Had trouble playing Sonic The Dark brotherhood (Would not play at all).
My CycloDS plays it just fine without any problems.

The R4 is a little more challenging to work too.
My brother had to download and copy files to his to get it to work.
The CycloDS is basically plug and play. It takes care of the rest.

Updating the CycloDS couldn’t be easier.
Copy the firmware update to your SD card,
boot up and it updates automatically and deletes
the firmware update. If you get a bad firmware update,
you can do a reset using a button combination.

I can’t say much bad about the R4.
Doesn’t have some of the compatibility the
CycloDS has and all it’s pre-built cheats are in Japanese,
so you kinda can’t jump right into your favorite game very easily.
CycloDS came with a lot of pre-built *english* Cheats.

There’s A LOT of crap on youtube and various gaming
forums about the R4. People getting fakes,
the card breaking, stop working, or the dreaded “Loading…” bug
that a majority of problems seem to be.

These cards are something you have to be careful with.
It’s like buying a used car.
It really is worth it to take the extra money
and buy something you KNOW is reliable vs. something that’s questionable.

I vote for a CycloDS. Has never given me
problems and does what it says it’ll do.

Step 1

M3 exampleIn order to have multiple backup games and multimedia on your Nintendo DS, first you need either a slot 1 or slot 2 accessory, which can go on top of your DS socket, or the bottom one, respectively. Some examples might be:

- M3 Adapter
- M3 Simply
- G6 Flash

Step 2

Here you can see an SD mini card with a memory adapterOnce you purchase any of the above, you will also need an SD mini memory card. With this small memory stick, you can place a wide variety of video, audio, games, and applications. The amount of memory on these cards can range from 512 MB (for the casual user) to even 2 GB (for the enthusiast.) There are bigger memory cards out there, but some of the above adapters (from step one) may not recognize such a big amount of space.

Step 3
You may also need some kind of adapter to transfer your files to and from the mini SD card. All this is generally very easy to manage, and can easily be connected to a USB port on your computer.

Step 4
The last step is simply to find yourself available resources for homebrew applications, etc. While I will not provide direct links to commercial applications and games, I will, however, give you certain websites that support free programs for your downloading pleasure.
See external links below for further assistance.

Backup Nintendo DS Games

Step 1Visit a website that has a DS emulator available for download, such as DesMume (See Resources). An emulator is a program that simulates a console like Nintendo DS and lets you play it on your computer.

Step 2Download and install the program on your computer. You can do this by opening the installation file after it downloads on your computer. It should be on your desktop or downloads folder.

Step 3Visit a website where you can download Nintendo DS roms, which are DS games that you can use with your emulator. An example is of such a site is Isohunt (See Resources).

Step 4Search for a rom of a DS game you own. Do this by typing its name into the search box. When the results are listed, choose the one you want and click on it.

Step 5Open your Nintendo DS emulator and click on the option to open a rom. Find your rom in the browse window, and double-click on it. The backup game should now be ready to use.

Fix Nintendo DS Lite Hinges

Step 1Put the soft washcloth down on a table. Put the DS Lite face down on the washcloth. Open the battery compartment and pull out the battery. Put both aside.

Step 2Remove the screws from the back and side of the hinge using the NDS screwdriver. Turn the DS Lite over and remove the screws from the bottom casing and top casing with the NDS screwdriver.

Step 3Carefully remove the bottom casing. Release the white wire attached to the motherboard by squeezing the sides till it comes loose. Pull the white wire off of the motherboard and through the hinge of the top case so that it is dangling free.

Step 4Remove the top case front by pulling it straight off.

Step 5Desolder the exposed black wire where it connects to the LCD screen connector.

Step 6Remove the two display cables from the LCD screen connector by squeezing the sides of each display cable and wiggling the cables free of the LCD screen connector.

Step 7Use the jeweler's screwdriver to remove the small screw holding the LCD screen to the top casing. Remove the LCD screen and place it down on the soft washcloth.

Step 8Wiggle the top casing free of the bottom casing and discard the top casing.

Step 9Attach the replacement top casing to the hinged area so that it holds onto the bottom casing. Place the LCD screen onto the replacement top casing and screw the small screw back in to hold the LCD screen to the replacement top casing.

Step 10Reattach the two display cables to the LCD screen connector, solder the black wire back onto its position on the LCD screen connector and replace the front of the top case by snapping it onto the replacement top case.

Step 11Snake the white wire through the hinge and insert it into the connector on the motherboard of the bottom casing.

Step 12Reverse the disassembly procedure to put the DS Lite back together. Insert the battery and close the battery compartment.

Download Demos on a Nintendo DS

http://www.gameplayfun.com
R4DS, R4i, R4 SDHC, Acekard 2i, CycloDS, DSTTi, M3DS, Supercard DS

Step
1(Download Nintendo Channel onto Wii.) In order to download Nintendo DS demos, you need to download the Nintendo Channel onto your Wii. To do this, go to the online Wii Shop Channel, then to Wii Channels, and then download the Nintendo Channel. Don't fret, this is free.

Step
2(Access DS Download Service.) Go to the Nintendo Channel. Click on the "To the Video List" button. Now, click on the blue "Find Titles for You" button at the top of the screen. All the way at the bottom is a button that reads "DS Download Service". Click on it.

Step
3(Select a game demo to download.) Now just select a Nintendo DS game to download. The DS demo will begin transmitting.

Step
4(Download the DS game onto system.) Turn on your Nintendo DS. Select the "DS Download Play" button on the Main Menu. Bring the DS within range of the Wii, and you should see an icon for the Nintendo DS demo. Select it, and then press the (A) button to download the game.

Step
5(Play the demo!) Once the download finished, you are free to play the demo! Remember, the demo is only stored temporarily. If you turn off your Nintendo DS, then you will have to download it again. Until then, enjoy!

Set Up a Mixing ninetndo ds Console

http://www.gameplayfun.com
R4DS, R4i, R4 SDHC, Acekard 2i, CycloDS, DSTTi, M3DS, Supercard DS

Step
1Read over the entire manual of the console, checking the location and procedure of every connection and device on the mixture. Learn the basic features before working on the console. Make sure you know how to operate all the sound controls from volume to normalizing.

Step
2Install any accessory cards to the mixer. Remove the cover plates from the card slots, which are usually in back of the console. Align the card's guide rails inside one slot slide it in and screw the card down.

Step
3Place the console in position on whichever desk or table you are going to use. It should be in a position where you can comfortably access everything on the console from a seated position. You also need access to the connector ports in back.

Step
4Connect headphones to the console through the port specifically designed for them. This most often uses a large stereo connection, which is a long, thick, rounded plug with two black bands. If your headphones use the mini version of this plug, get a mini-to-large adapter for them.

Step
5Connect all of your input sources, starting with the microphone and including anything from CD players to computers with MP3 files. Most of these will use RCA connections with the red-and-white plug cables. The microphone will have its own port and use the same stereo connection the headphones do. Every device must be accessible to your fingertips.

Step
6Label each channel on the mixer for the input source you have connected it to. This will only require a pen and any type of adhesive tape you can safely apply to the console's surface. Write down the type of audio source on the strip of tape after applying it near that track's controls.

Step
7Attach your output sources, be they speakers or your transmission source such as a broadcast antenna. If your console does not come with a built-in amplifier, connect the console's output to an external amplifier and connect that to your output sources.

Step
8Plug the console into your AC power source. Some consoles can also be plugged into an external power supply with an extra cable that provides backup power in the event the primary supply goes out.

Step
11. Before continuing it is suggested you format your micro SD/SDHC card in your computer by using your card reader or the USB adapter.
How will you format? After Windows has added the SD card as a new drive, open the "My Computer" window and right click on the new removable drive. Then select "Format" from the menu. In the format window select FAT32 as file system> choose quick format and press OK to format the card.

Step
22.If you have important data on the Micro SD/SDHC card make sure you save the data somewhere else before you complete this step. You may also find it useful to give you micro SD/SDHC card a volume label when formatting. This makes it easier to identify your card.

Step
33.Please go this official acekard website: http://www.acekard.com/download.php > click "download" and download version 4.21 on your desktop/mac. If the kernel has been updated on acekard.com use new kernel.
You will need winrar/ zip program to download and unzip this software and if you dont have this program on your pc already you can get it free at www.download.com, just type in rar/zip on the site's search bar.

Step
44.After downloading , extract the RAR file using winrar/zip program (double click on it), this will give you "_ak2", "akmenu4.nds" and "release_note.txt". Highlight all of these and send to or transfer or drag & drop or copy and paste to the root directory (this is important) of your MicroSD/SDHC card.[The "root" of any storage media is just the first window that pops up when you open the disk drive or you can open it by going to my computer>right click>open].Finally, please check you have all of the above extracted parts on your Micro SD/SDHC card.

Step
55.You can now eject your Micro SD/SDHC card from your computer, put it in your ak2i, and boot up ak2i in you DS/DSL/DSi. Thats it! Its really that simple!

Step
6If after doing the above your dsi gives an error message possibly your dsi is on 1.4 firmware. If so and to make acekard 2i work in a dsi 1.4 firmware go to all4consoles.co.uk/acekard-setup.html and follow the main as well as the red part in the bottom of the guide. The fix is easy.

How to Compare a Nintendo DS and DSi

http://www.gameplayfun.com
R4DS, R4i, R4 SDHC, Acekard 2i, CycloDS, DSTTi, M3DS, Supercard DS

Step
1
Determine if you want WiFi capabilities on your handheld game system. The WiFi connection allows you to play against other players either you know or players you have never met across the world. Both the DS (DS Lite) and the DSi will allow you to play games online. Both systems will allow you to surf the internet, although you will have to buy an extra cartridge to be able to do so on the Nintendo DS (DS Lite). The other difference is the Nintendo DSi will allow you to download special games via the WiFi connection.

Step
2
Determine if you need to play old Nintendo Game Boy Advance games. If you own Game Boy advance games and you want to play them on your new Nintendo handheld system, you will need to choose the Nintendo DS, now called the DS Lite. The Nintendo DSi does not play Nintendo Game Boy games.

Step
3Decide if you need your handheld game system to play music. The DS Lite handheld system will not play music. The Nintendo DSi will play music through the SD/SDHC card slot. The DSi will play music files compatible with AAC with a .mp4, m4a, or .3gp extension. The Nintendo DSi also allows you to record, since there is a built in microphone. You can also run your recordings or music through special filters to change the songs or recordings.

Step
4Decide if you want a built in camera on your Nintendo handheld. The DSi is currently the only handheld Nintendo game system with a camera. The DSi allows you to tag your photos and organize them using a photo calender. If you have friends with DSi systems you can send your photos via WiFi to each other and store them on a SD or SDHC memory card.

Step
3Drag and drop the compatible AAC audio files into the root storage of the SD card.

Step
4Remove the SD card when you are finished transferring what you want.

Step
5Insert the SD card into the SD card slot of the Nintendo DS.

Step
6Turn the DS on and go to the DS menu.

Step
7Select the sound icon.

Step
8Select "Play with your music.". This will bring up the information on your SD card.

Step
9Select the song you want to listen to and then press "Start.".

How to Download Free DS Games

http://www.gameplayfun.com

http://www.gameplayfun.com
R4DS, R4i, R4 SDHC, Acekard 2i, CycloDS, DSTTi, M3DS, Supercard DS

•Step 1

The R4 DS Flashcart.First, you will need a DS flash cart. These are basically shaped just like and normal DS game, only here's the catch- they can hold a Micro SD chip, and play hundreds, if not thousands, of free DS games downloaded right off the Internet! I recommend purchasing the R4, M3, or Edge DS flash carts. You can purchase these at www.gameplayfun.com (which has cheap prices but slow shipping), or just type in 'DS flash carts' on the web and order one. They're relatively inexpensive($14-$20 each).

•Step 2
After obtaining a DS flash cart and a Micro SD chip, use either an SD card adapter or a USB adapter(which will probably come with your purchased flash cart)to plug in your Micro SD chip into your Nintendo DS.

•Step 3
Type in 'nintendo ds roms' into Google, or http://www.gameplayfun.com/category-s/29.htm, and you'll find many, many, websites. as it has the best interface by far compared to other websites, and it also has most games.

•Step 4
Once you've downloaded your game (which will take some time, based on the file size), place it into your micro SD, put the Micro SD into your DS flash cart, plug it into your Nintendo DS, and you're done!

Disprove Evolution Using Science

R4DS, R4i, R4 SDHC, Acekard 2i, CycloDS, DSTTi, M3DS, Supercard DS

•Step 1
Use the scientific method. A key part of the scientific method is the
finding of evidence that is observable and supports a hypothesis
resulting in a theory's development. Here a problem arises in the
theory of evolution. Natural selection and genetic variance are
commonly used as the observable evidence of evolution. However, this
body of evidence only proves that variance exists within a species.
From here evolutionists take a major leap of faith to presume that
over time a species will change into a different species due to
environmental conditions that favor a certain trait or traits than
others. No species has ever been observed changing into another one.
Indeed environmental conditions may favor specific traits within in a
species and a characteristic like color or size may well become
dominant over time, but this in no way suggests that it will
eventually transform into a separate species. It merely proves that
different characteristics should exist within populations that are
removed from other populations. Two members of different populations
would still be perfectly capable of reproducing with one another no
matter how long they have been separated. In fact, natural selection
could be used to explain why genetic variance exists within
populations that share dominant characteristics but in no way can it
be supposed that it results in species transformation. Just look at
the diversity within the human race. Small, tall, white, black, 1200cc
brain capacity, 1400cc brain capacity- all perfectly able to reproduce
with one another and all the same species. The oldest human
populations on Earth are scientifically accepted as West African
groups. These groups have dominant traits that all members share and
are biologically similar in appearance and physical makeup yet among
themselves the highest degree of genetic variance in the human race is
found. They are not changing into a different species. They carry a
genetic code that proves species evolution does not occur.

•Step 2
Use examples that are used to prove evolution to challenge it. A
popular example evolutionists point to as evidence of for the theory
is moths that changed color in England during the Industrial
Revolution. The environmental condition of pollution enabled darker
moths to become more dominant than lighter moths, as they attained an
advantage over predators by becoming harder to see in the polluted
environment. Well, what does that prove? Only that the majority of
moths in the area were darker than they were before. They would still
be able to reproduce with the lighter moths if the opportunity arose.
Evolutionists in fact have very little observances to base their
theory on, and this example is still one of the most commonly used-
despite the theory itself growing far more complex than such a simple
observation as this. With the introduction of genetics into the theory
of evolution, they should realize that varying characteristics do not
mandate species evolution. Instead, genetics offer evidence for
species flowing back and forth between varying traits that are at
times more well-suited than others. A trait that has lost its
favorability will, through reproduction within a species, once again
become dominant if environmental conditions cooperate. This is why a
high degree of genetic variability will exist in older and more
isolated populations of species. Not because they evolved new
characteristics but because they have been around for such a long
period of time that they are merely using a trait that was already
part of its genetic code. The older population would still be able to
reproduce with all members of a species no matter how much time or
distinctiveness of environments separates it from the other
populations.

•Step 3
Use more recent examples. Another favorite piece of evidence used to
prove evolution is mutation, which is, in most cases, contrary to the
principles of evolution, as their effects are overwhelmingly
detrimental to an organism. Commonly the AIDS virus is shown to
support this basis in their thinking. People infected with the virus
and treated with the anti-viral medications used to combat the
infection have seen the disease become resistant to their treatments.
This is due to the virus mutating-but it does not change into a new
virus altogether. In fact, when a person has developed drug resistant
AIDS, the most effective method is to stop taking medication, allowing
the virus to change back into its original form because it has been
shown that the original strain will gradually replace the mutated
strain. Once it reverts back to its original state, the anti-viral
drugs will be effective once again. This shows that the variance
brought on by the mutation is the only factor contributing to its
change, and that given the right environmental conditions, it will
once again assume its original dominant characteristics, but will not
change into a new virus completely. Bacterial diseases that are
antibiotic-resistant work in a similar way. Their resistance derives
from a variance that allows a bacterial population to be missing the
ribosome an antibiotic attaches to. If the bacteria with the missing
ribosome is introduced to a population of bacteria with the ribosome,
very quickly will the ribosome-less bacteria be overrun and replaced
by the normal bacteria. Their own evidence of mutation sometimes being
beneficial is always applied to viruses and bacteria but they fail to
recognize that these changes are only temporary variance within a
isolated populations that will not result in complete biological
change.

•Step 4
Use the fossil evidence. There are many factors within the fossil
record that are highly suspect when it comes to using it as an example
for evolution. Many of the explanations are purely hypothetical and at
times contradictory. The problems with dating fossils has recently
become so evident that old methods such as carbon dating are not
heavily relied upon by anthropologists and paleontologists anymore.
They themselves only feel sure about dates if a fossil is found in
layers of certain geological tufts. This results in dating based on
theories unrelated to evolution and opens itself to criticism. The
best way to highlight the tremendous amount of faith evolutionists put
into their ideas is relating the anthropological explanation for the
fossil record of New World monkeys. They surmise that the only reason
monkeys exist on the South American continent is that they are a
result of a small population of Old World monkeys in Africa that
sailed across the Atlantic ocean on a breakaway piece of land. They
subsequently evolved into all the moneys in South America today. What?
Evolutionists have to come up with a hypothesis like this because the
dates that they ascribe to various fossils force them to. They assume
dates are accurate enough to make further conclusions about a fossil.
Here they make a huge scientific mistake. The environmental conditions
that allow a bone to fossilize require extremely rare circumstances
that allow preservation. The process of the fossilization results in
total change from organic matter to inorganic matter that has been so
chemically transformed that extracting an accurate date is impossible.

•Step 5
Use mathematics. The theory of evolution is driven by so many chance
occurances that once they are totaled it becomes a mathematical
impossibility. Think of it this way. Our universe was just formed by
chance, on top of that chance luck stuck again with Earth's position
from the sun, the luck kept rolling with the life spark of chemical
reactions in the primordial ooze, luckier still is the chemical
reaction never repeated itself so all living things have a common
ancestor, and the best part of it all is that we are the supreme
byproduct of these biological lotteries. Or maybe our faith should be
placed in something greater than ourselves.
